How do you manage stress?
In for a moment,
Out for a thought!
Let in the air that
You had forgot!
Breathe, my good friend!
Let the air in!
Hold it for a second
And blow it out again!
When your feeling anxious
And stress is at your door
Do not hyperventilate
Control your breath for four
Your pulse at once was racing!
But now it’s slowing down
You’ll feel your mind start easing,
The racing thoughts slow down
Take one more
big deep breath my friend
And blow your stresses
out again!
The simple rhythm of “in for a moment, out for a thought” makes the poem feel like a breath itself. What a kind, practical reminder to slow down when stress is at the door. 🌹
