Welcome to the Modern Survival blog! My name is Dakota, and I am, as you may have guessed, a bit of a survivalist. Not so much a doomsday prepper, but rather someone who has seen a lot of bad things, and wants to do what he can to prevent more bad things from happening, or help people in times of struggle. I try to combine fitness, philosophy, theology, and traditional lifestyle habits with modern technology to make a life that is WORTH living, while avoiding as much of the consumerist, distraction riddled culture we are living in. So grab a cup of your favorite beverage, and have a look at what I’ve been writing. I hope it helps.
