What’s something you’ve done that you never thought you could?
I was but a small boy
Not yet one hundred pounds
And there before me stood a man
To throw me to the ground
His age was nought but one year more,
His muscles lean and strong,
height was six inch more than me,
Fearsome was his song
His leg lashed out in violent strike
My shoulder screamed despair
I stood my ground with every blow
As fists flew through the air
I did not win that rowdy fight
But neither did I flee
I stood my ground and faced my fear
And made my rival bleed.
