A gentle wind hits my skin
As clouds of rain approach
I hear a gentle rumblin’
That brings with it a hope
And bolt of light that soars on by
Illuminates the shade
That cover cast by blackened clouds
Darkening my gaze
I know that simply standing here
Will bring me to the eye
The stillness found inside the storm
Natures gentle sigh
Remember then, in darkest day
When rain beats on your brow
This too shall pass
And nothing lasts
The worst of storms subside
