Rest.

Work. Discipline. Grind. Motivate. Move.

You’ve heard all of this before.

You don’t need another person telling you to go harder, do more, jump higher.

You’re tired, worn out, from pursuing a vision of life that doesn’t make sense.

You need to rest.

Now, to be very clear, you don’t need to be distracted. You need actual, real rest. No screen time, scrolling, music, tv in the background.

You need silence.

Still. Peace. Calm.

The work is important. The hobbies are important. The REST is important.

The distractions… well, they aren’t. They’re holding you back. Your mind isn’t designed for all the noise you’re experiencing on a day to day basis, and it’s part of why you are struggling.

You are a simple creature. Yes, there is a time for music, for entertainment, for news. But it cannot be constant. You weren’t meant to carry that kind of weight. thousands of hours of screen time that simply didn’t exist twenty years ago is not something you are adapted to.

So turn it all off. Close the tabs, put your phone in another room, and breathe. Let your thoughts flow. De-stimulate yourself. Let your mind rest.

You need to rest.
