The Road Less Travelled

Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” — Robert Frost

I think on this quotation often, not for any particular desire I have to walk the road less travelled. No, indeed, I tend to walk the well paved, the manufactured, the manicured walkways.

This is not a strength of mine, but rather a great weakness.

There is a great power in choosing the path lines with thorns, and rocks, and hills. It builds strength, awareness, intelligence. It teaches you how to solve problems.

I am a man of manicured paths, but I crave the primitive trail.

Maybe, as I grow, I will choose more of them.
