Out to the Wilderness

Send me out there,

Where no people are

And give up my soul

To its King

Let me die fighting,

On the battlefield lying,

Or take my last breath

By the sea

Give me the host,

Or an army of ghosts

An adventure!

With little compare

Out to the Wilderness

Under the sky,

Please set free my spirit

Until I should die

And finally, I’ll go,

To the Maker I know

With a soul that’s

as light as a breeze

But don’t let me die

Under haze addled skies

Of a city that’s coated

In smog

I’d rather be cursed,

To be laid in a hearse

After being drug

Out of a bog
