Don’t Wait for Good Timing

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

It’s truly the best advice. In finance, in work, in life, waiting for convenience or good timing is often the worst advice. In many cases, people wait until it’s too late to start, or slow their progress significantly by holding off on things until “a better time” (a time which doesn’t exist, because the work is never convenient).

If you want something, the only way to get it is to pursue it. You need not do everything at once, but you do need to begin. Even if it’s just doing something small, that investment builds over time, both in money and in life.

So don’t wait for that convenience to get where you want to go. Get started.
