An A-Frame Shelter is a shelter using a single ridge pole and two side walls, pulled tight into a shape like the letter A. This type of shelter allows less mobility, but has increased wind protection. An A-Frame shelter might be best suited for non combat situations, such as when in a large group; lack of visibility and easy mobility make this shelter a non starter for times when getting away fast may be required, however, in a camp with good security and a strong presence, this may be preferable to a colder, windier, less comfortable option. This shelter is a very good option for rain protection.
