Bug Out is a term used by Survivalists meaning to leave a location. This can be in reference to a disaster, combat situation, or permanent displacement. There is debate by many about when to bug out, be it well before an event, after, or if you should at all. Bugging out is typically up to Survivalist preference, although it is not optional in many circumstances (wildfire, flooding)
